This project was funded by the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Secretariat. The project launched an interactive platform that could be accessed through a website in both Arabic and English, and iPhone, iPad and Android (Naseeha) application.
It aimed to increase the access of Palestinians living in East Jerusalem to justice through updated information on legal/institutional procedures, documentation on Human Rights (HR) and International Human Law (IHL) committed by Israeli forces. The project guided and monitored Jerusalemites to counter the procedures of the occupation and defend their rights. In addition, it provided a comprehensive data base of contact information of advocates, experts, and local/international organizations to facilitate the access to legal aid and services. Alternatively, international stakeholders have had increased awareness of and continuous access, alongside with national stakeholders, to provide updated information about HR and IHL violations in Jerusalem.
