In this article, will identify four difficulties and frustrations that accompany each that confront the physician. I will also describe why the story could be called a nightmare then lastly highlight the styles that revealed from the history.

The weather is very unfavourable. It is this era that the physician struggles to attend to an emergency ten miles away throughout a snowstorm. It is this inclement weather and exhaustion that resulted in the death of his equine. The death of the horse significantly frustrates the doctor as he is unable to attend to the alarm due to lack of a horse. At the end as he goes back home, he’s still greatly affected by the snow.

The perspective of the individual about his sickness can be a huge challenge to the physician. The patient has given up on life. When the physician arrives and talks about the patient, the son says, "doctor, let me die!" That is a total lack of hope. The doctor is disappointed because he can perform nothing to the condition of the young man (John stone 2008).

The emerging of the groom from the pigsty is one great challenge the physician faces. The groom can be a stranger but very ready to assist by lending his horse. Instead of accompanying the physician, he refuses to go with him. Actually just the first time he handles Rosa is very suspicious. He scratches her cheek along with his teeth. The groom’s actions after the doctor leaves are also mysterious (Cuizon 2008).

The frustrations head out further more as he has left Rosa in a vulnerable status yet his mission is not successful (Cuizon 2008).

The story could be called a nightmare due to the happenings that happen. The emerging of the groom and the horses from the pigsty is certainly frightening. The doctor, who is who owns the pigsty thinks it really is abandoned, actually Rosa’s comment is certainly satirical; "one doesn’t find out the things you have in one’s own property." The groom is as well ready to help. The description of the horses is not normal; in fact the doctor admits that he previously never employed such horses. The quickness the horses work and the time taken for the ten miles is very short. The way the patient’s family handles the doctor is also frightening. They remove his clothes, and then drive him to lie in the same bed with the individual. They then close the door and leave. In addition, the tune sung by the school children and the instructor is definitely frightening, "take his clothes off, then he’ll cure, and if he will not cure, eliminate him. It’s only a doctor, it’s only a doctor."(Cuizon 2008).

The doctor also testmyprep allows the family of the patient to control him, by harassing him until they have his garments off.

Man’s vulnerability to elements: There are a few kinds of nature that we can’t avoid. The physician exposes himself to bad weather which after cost him his horse. Nature triggers the wound on the son until it gets to to a level of him rotting and eventually death.

The motif of faith versus medicine is also evident. The habit of the sick, son is a complete show of insufficient faith. The persons expect the doctor to do everything, at the arrival of the physician the family receives him and actually tries to entice him to handle the procedure. When he wants to leave without presenting treatment, they get extremely disappointed. The writer lastly notes that treatments without faith isn’t practical; people need to believe actually before treatment.
