Palestinian Vision Organization trained 30 female facilitators through a specialized programme designed to strengthen their skills in remedial education and in responding effectively to children’s behavioural needs. The training was delivered under the “Education in Emergencies” project, implemented in cooperation with 10 grassroots partner organizations in Qalqilya and Salfit governorates.
The four-day training covered two main areas. The first focused on remedial education methodologies, planning learning sessions, selecting age-appropriate activities, learning through play, and approaches to assessment and diagnosis. The second addressed behaviour modification and practical techniques facilitators can use while working with children.
Following the training, the facilitators will deliver remedial education sessions based on their academic specializations in Arabic, English, or mathematics.
