Nomow

The Palestinian Vision Organization (PalVision) is implementing the “Nomow” project (Arabic for Growth), supported and funded by the United Nations Population Fund. This initiative targets children aged between 12 and 14 in Jerusalem, residing on both sides of the apartheid wall, investing in their skills in performing arts and sports. Specifically, it aims to assist 500 children in schools affiliated with the Palestinian Ministry of Education. By guiding them on topics related to adolescent health and puberty, the project seeks to help them navigate this stage with awareness and understanding of health issues, thereby reducing common problems they may encounter. Additionally, the project conducts counseling workshops for parents on child health and transition changes during growth stages.
