Ahlam Saqr, one of the participants in the Youth Achievement project, launched her initiative to provide hygiene supplies in the shelter camp where she and her family were displaced in the Mawasi Khan Younis area.
The idea for the initiative emerged due to the lack of proper hygiene in the camp and the absence of essential cleaning equipment for the camp’s committee. The initiative supplied the camp with necessary cleaning tools and organized daily cleaning activities involving the displaced residents themselves to ensure the camp’s cleanliness is maintained consistently.
The Youth Achievement project is a joint initiative between PalVision and Shabab Bila Hudood, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
