The Palestinian Vision Organization responded promptly to the state of emergency declared in Palestine since the beginning of October 2023, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people during the most challenging times. Through its dedicated efforts and impactful interventions, the organization has successfully extended aid across several governorates and refugee camps, positively affecting the lives of thousands. Below is a summary of its key achievements:
- Distribution of Food Parcels:
In a humanitarian effort to meet the needs of vulnerable families, the organization distributed over 1,920 food parcels across Gaza, Jerusalem, Jenin, Tulkarm, the Jordan Valley, and Ramallah, ensuring timely support reached those in need.
- Strengthening the Healthcare Sector in Jerusalem:
In support of hospitals that serve as lifelines in Jerusalem, the organization provided medications and financial aid exceeding $26,000 to Al-Makassed and Augusta Victoria hospitals. This contribution improved the quality of healthcare services available to patients.
- Childcare Support in Refugee Camps:
To address the basic needs of children, the organization distributed essential items, including baby formula and medicines, worth more than $10,000, alleviating burdens for over 500 families in Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps.
- Direct Financial Assistance:
The organization delivered direct financial support to over 330 individuals in Gaza, addressing their urgent needs and easing their daily hardships.
- Providing Personal Supplies for Displaced Individuals:
The aid extended to include personal supplies for over 40 individuals from Gaza residing in Jerusalem, as well as more than 420 individuals from Gaza living in Tulkarm, helping them cope with their difficult circumstances.
- Establishing and Training Emergency Committees:
The organization established 13 emergency committees across several areas, including Jerusalem, Tulkarm, Nur Shams, Far’a, Jenin refugee camps, Nablus, Salfit, and Bethlehem. All committee members were trained in civil defense, first aid, and psychosocial support, and were equipped with the necessary tools to effectively fulfill their critical roles during disasters and emergencies.
