Palestinian Vision signed employment agreements with more than 130 companies to provide 175 temporary job opportunities for unemployed individuals for a period of six months in the governorates of Nablus, Tulkarm, Jenin, and Tubas. This comes as part of the “Create Hope” project, implemented by Palestinian Vision in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council.
The agreements were signed in coordination and cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, the Stone and Marble Industry Union, the Construction Industries Union, the Farmers Union, and Mada Company, reflecting a broad partnership with key economic and productive sectors.
These partnerships respond to a genuine need to strengthen alignment between labour market needs and the skills of young people seeking professional opportunities. They aim to provide real work environments that enable youth to gain practical experience and develop professional skills in line with market demands.
This cooperation forms an integrated partnership model that seeks to expand employment opportunities and create sustainable economic and social impact, particularly amid the difficult economic conditions facing Palestinian society.
Over the course of three years, the programme aims to provide training and employment opportunities for more than 720 male and female trainees by connecting them with practical work opportunities that enhance their professional readiness, support their integration into the labour market, and enable them to build more stable and sustainable career paths.
