Established in 2017, Al-Deir and Al-Sakout Agricultural Cooperative Association operates in the Al-Deir and Al-Sakout communities of Tubas Governorate and currently has 16 members. The association manages a farm covering more than five dunums, including approximately two dunums for pineapple cultivation, one dunum for a nursery, and two dunums for seasonal crops.
PalVision supported the association by establishing a one-dunum greenhouse nursery for pineapple seedling production. The seedlings are sold to local farmers or used on the association’s own pineapple farm. The support included equipping the nursery with a covered greenhouse and the necessary seedling trays, creating two employment opportunities and strengthening the association’s capacity to produce and market pineapple seedlings.
The association also provides water distribution services to farmers in Ein Al-Beida.
In addition to technical support, PalVision provided training in business development, green transformation, decent work, and marketing.
