As part of youth initiatives implemented in cooperation between the Palestinian Vision Organization (PalVision) and the Beddo Women’s Center, and within the framework of the “Together We Can” project, the Beddo Women’s Center conducted a child rights awareness session in the town of Beddo. The session aimed to introduce children to their fundamental rights in an age-appropriate and simplified manner, including the right to education, health, protection, freedom of expression, play, and freedom from violence and discrimination.
The session also included a set of psychosocial support and emotional release activities designed to promote children’s mental wellbeing. These activities featured group games, expressive drawing, role-play, and interactive exercises that helped children express their feelings, build self-confidence, and strengthen teamwork.
In addition, the program incorporated light entertainment segments and short competitions to reinforce children’s practical understanding of child rights in an engaging way, alongside brief dialogue circles that provided space for children to ask questions and share their views freely.
The session was facilitated and delivered by Samar Mansour from Beddo Women’s Center, using an interactive approach that responds to children’s needs and encourages active participation.
