The “Greening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)” campaign aims to encourage institutions in the TVET sector to integrate green transition components and skills—such as green agricultural technology and agri-tourism—into their curricula and training programs. These fields carry promising future opportunities, including the creation of new jobs, support for the local economy, and contributions to addressing key challenges such as climate change and the scarcity of natural resources.
The campaign focuses on highlighting the importance of embedding green transition and sustainable skills—among them smart and green agricultural technologies as well as agri-tourism—into the curricula and training programs of vocational centers, colleges, and schools. It seeks to raise awareness among implementers and policymakers about the benefits of integration, while also encouraging concrete steps in this direction. In parallel, the campaign will work to raise awareness among students and their families about the value of pursuing studies in green agricultural technology and agri-tourism.
To achieve its goals, the campaign will invest in social media platforms to disseminate videos and posts on the topic, in addition to holding meetings and accountability sessions with ministries, vocational centers, and colleges concerned.
