As part of its efforts to support children’s talents in free expression and story writing, Palestinian Vision organized two specialized trainings under the “Together We Can” project, implemented in partnership with War Child. The trainings targeted a group of children from Beit Surik and Bedu, in cooperation with the partner organizations: Bedu Women’s Center and Beit Surik Women’s Center.
The sessions focused on the importance of documentation and writing, story development skills and key narrative elements, character building, and crafting content, using an interactive non-formal approach. The trainings resulted in a collection of stories—some grounded in real-life experiences, while others leaned into imagination—contributing to enhanced creativity, expanded spaces for free expression, better organization of ideas, and stronger motivation to write.
Palestinian Vision will offer this opportunity to another group of children in the governorate as a step toward engaging more children and encouraging them to become active members in child-focused clubs. A selection of outstanding stories will also be documented and published in the coming period.
