The Palestinian Vision Organization, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Al-Asimah Sports Club, and with funding from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, launched the “Me and My Father” sports league under the “Numo” project in Jerusalem Governorate.
The league brought together 74 participants of adolescents and their fathers, who were divided into teams that played friendly matches filled with fun, interaction, and positive energy. The initiative aimed to strengthen and empower relationships between fathers and sons through sports and teamwork. The matches became a space for enjoyment, encouragement, and dialogue, fostering emotional closeness and family communication.
The event witnessed wide participation from families, alongside the administrative bodies of both the Palestinian Vision Organization and Al-Asimah Sports Club. Both parties emphasized that such initiatives help instill values, reinforce family ties, and encourage continued collaboration with youth clubs to support the role of future generations.
The league concluded with the distribution of symbolic awards and trophies for the first and second place teams, in addition to individual prizes for Best Player, Best Goalkeeper, and Best Goal—creating an atmosphere of excitement and joy among participants.
