The Palestinian Vision Organization held a dialogue session at the Ministry of Labor headquarters, bringing together young men and women from Jericho and Tubas, with the participation of Minister of Labor Dr. Enas Al-Atari, Assistant Deputy Mr. Rami Mahdawi—who moderated the discussion—and representatives from Oxfam. The event was organized as part of the “Greening Technical and Vocational Education” campaign, implemented within the framework of the Green Pathways project.
Minister Al-Atari welcomed the session and the participation of young farmers, emphasizing the alignment between the Ministry’s strategy and the efforts of the Palestinian Vision Organization to support Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). She highlighted the importance of promoting green activities and linking them to training programs as a future pathway for youth.
For his part, Assistant Deputy Rami Mahdawi stressed the Ministry’s readiness to expand the reach of vocational training centers to include the Jordan Valley and Tubas areas, and to update the national TVET strategy in partnership with the Palestinian Vision Organization and Oxfam. He affirmed his commitment to following up on the session’s recommendations and translating them into practical steps that would strengthen agricultural specializations and better serve young people.
In turn, the Palestinian Vision Organization commended the role of the Ministry of Labor and its continuous commitment to empowering youth and supporting their orientation toward agricultural vocational education. The organization emphasized that this partnership represents a key driver in expanding opportunities for the new generation and reinforcing their role in sustainable development.

Expanding the coverage of vocational training centers to reach the Jordan Valley and Tubas.

Providing incentives to encourage students to enroll in agricultural specializations.

Establishing business incubators and start-ups in the Jordan Valley and Tubas to absorb graduates of agricultural fields and create sustainable employment opportunities.
The dialogue session served as a milestone in reaffirming the importance of partnership between the Ministry and community institutions to make agricultural vocational education a strategic choice that contributes to strengthening food security in Palestine.
