Palestinian Vision Organization has completed a new cycle of TeamUp psychosocial support sessions for children in Qalandia Al-Balad, as part of the “Together We Can” project and in cooperation with Qalandia Sports Club.
Through a combination of play, sports, and creative arts, the sessions provided children with a safe and supportive space to express themselves, release emotional stress, and take part in meaningful activities during the summer holiday. The activities were designed to promote children’s psychosocial well-being and strengthen their ability to cope with daily pressures.
This marks the thirtieth group reached by PalVision through the TeamUp methodology over the past two years. More than 625 children have benefited from the sessions, implemented in partnership with grassroots organizations across the Jerusalem Governorate.
The sessions were facilitated by women who received specialized training in the TeamUp methodology, ensuring that activities respond to children’s psychosocial needs while fostering resilience, adaptability, and a greater sense of safety and support.
