Over 1,000 children and caregivers took part in the “Numu” Open Days—an initiative to promote family interaction and support early childhood development.
The Palestinian Vision Organization, in partnership with Save the Children, the Ministry of Social Development, and local kindergartens, organized 14 interactive and recreational open days across four governorates: Jerusalem, Hebron, Bethlehem, and Nablus.
Targeting children under the age of 3 and their parents, the events aimed to create engaging spaces that enhance communication within the family and support children’s healthy development during this critical stage.
Activities included interactive theatre performances, sensory-motor games, magic shows, and participatory exercises designed to encourage parents’ active involvement in their children’s growth journey. The events were hosted in collaboration with various kindergartens that provided safe and welcoming spaces.
This intervention is part of the project’s broader efforts to strengthen children’s developmental and motor skills and foster stronger family-child relationships through fun, educational experiences.
