As part of the Salalem Project and in partnership with Save the Children, Palestinian Vision concluded 4 specialized training courses titled “Behavior Management and Psychosocial Support for Children.” The trainings were designed in line with the organization’s efforts to strengthen the capacities of 100 facilitators who deliver remedial education sessions to children through 25 community based organizations across Tulkarm, the Jerusalem outskirts, Hebron, Ramallah, and Nablus.
The trainings focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of behaviors that may hinder the learning process, while equipping them with practical skills to better understand the underlying causes of these behaviors and respond to them effectively within educational settings. They also explored key principles and practical approaches to psychosocial support, helping facilitators create safer and more supportive learning environments for children and promote essential life skills across different areas of development.
Participants were also introduced to tools and mechanisms that support the identification of cases requiring follow up, in addition to basic referral principles and procedures when needed.
