With the support of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Palestinian Vision Organization carried out a series of educational and recreational activities under the “Nummow” project. The initiative aims to develop the capacities of the young generation in the Jerusalem area, enhance their active participation in community life, and empower adolescent boys and girls to adopt positive behaviors while promoting their psychosocial well-being.
The activities included two summer camps organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education — one for boys in Sur Baher and another for girls in Al-Ram. The camps featured guidance, recreational, and skill-building activities, as well as virtual tours to reinforce Palestinian identity in the cities of Nablus and Hebron, alongside purposeful theatrical performances addressing social and behavioral issues relevant to the realities and needs of adolescents.
In addition, the organization held three open days in various areas of Jerusalem, offering sports, recreational, and musical activities. These events were part of the organization’s broader plan to provide psychological relief and emotional support to the target group, particularly given the current circumstances in the country.
This intervention reflects Palestinian Vision’s commitment to investing in adolescent groups in priority areas that require focused support, by creating safe and stimulating environments for expression, interaction, and learning.
