Palestinian Vision Launches Educational Support Sessions under the “Salalem” Project

Palestinian Vision Organization, in partnership with Save the Children and in cooperation with 24 community-based organizations across six governorates, has launched a series of educational support sessions and learning meetings under the “Salalem” project. Implemented by around 100 facilitators, these sessions aim to enhance the academic performance of students from grade 1 to grade 6.
Coinciding with the beginning of the first school semester, the sessions are delivered through innovative teaching methods developed by the support teachers to align with the expected learning outcomes. They are designed to ensure that targeted students benefit effectively, while strengthening both their academic skills and their social and emotional learning. Palestinian Vision and its partners seek to create a sustainable positive impact within local communities by targeting around 60 students in each community-based organization, divided into groups according to class size, individual differences, and specific learning needs.
As part of the project, Palestinian Vision engaged the support teachers in specialized trainings on learning through play, remedial education, and effective educational tools and methods that contribute to the success of the sessions. These trainings equipped them with skills and experience to implement the sessions according to structured plans that are based on the students’ needs and learning objectives. The project is being implemented in the governorates of Jerusalem, Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Nablus, and Ramallah.
