Under the “Youth Economic Achievement” project, implemented by Palestinian Vision in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the organization completed a series of training and awareness raising interventions across Jenin, Tulkarm, Salfit, Jerusalem peripheries, and Hebron. The interventions aimed to empower young people and adolescents, and to strengthen their opportunities to participate in their communities and engage more effectively in economic and career pathways.
The interventions targeted young people aged 20 to 25, through the implementation of 182 training sessions and 13 inspirational and awareness raising sessions, reaching 538 young men and women. The activities also targeted adolescents aged 13 to 16, through 13 inspirational sessions and 13 academic and career guidance pathways, reaching 857 adolescents, in addition to conducting 390 career interest assessments to help participants explore their interests and identify their future pathways more clearly.
The sessions focused on a range of life and employability skills, including self confidence, effective communication, creative thinking, and teamwork, alongside practical skills related to labor market readiness, such as job search techniques, CV writing, self promotion, and preparation for job interviews.
These activities form part of Palestinian Vision’s integrated approach to empowering young people and adolescents, expanding their opportunities for social and economic participation, and strengthening their ability to make more informed decisions about their educational and professional futures.
