Palestinian Vision, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education / General Directorate of Student Activities / Sports Activity and Social Work Division, concluded the implementation of 12 open days targeting more than 1,800 students across six public schools: Hassan Mustafa Boys Basic School – Bethlehem Directorate; Rafat Girls Secondary School and Khawla bint Al-Azwar Girls Basic School – South Hebron Directorate; Humaidi Al-Barghouthi Mixed Secondary School, Bani Zaid Boys Basic School, and Qarawa Mixed Basic School – Birzeit Directorate.
These open days were delivered through an interactive, non-formal approach and included a variety of activities based on sports tools, arts, music, and creative expression methods. This provided students with a safe space to express themselves and discover their abilities outside the academic setting.
The activities contributed clearly to students’ psychosocial relief, particularly as the first semester came to an end. They had a positive impact on students’ well-being and increased their interaction and engagement in group activities.
This activity was implemented under the Sallam project, carried out in partnership with Save the Children, and within the framework of improving the school environment, contributing to students’ personal development and promoting their mental health—especially in light of the challenges students face in the current context.
