Palestinian Vision concluded this year’s remedial education programme under the “Salalem” project, delivering the equivalent of 600 sessions that reached 1,500 students across six Palestinian governorates: Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron, Nablus, and Tulkarm.
The sessions provided targeted academic support in Arabic, English, and Mathematics through specialised remedial education facilitators. Activities focused on addressing learning loss and strengthening students’ foundational skills, with particular attention to learners with learning needs. University students also contributed to the programme by offering additional support and direct assistance to participating students.
The programme helped boost students’ motivation to learn, improve their academic competencies, and develop social and emotional learning skills—contributing to students’ overall personal development, especially in social and educational domains.
This activity was implemented in cooperation with Save the Children and a number of partner organisations working in the field, as part of ongoing efforts to support education and strengthen students’ resilience across Palestinian governorates.
