As part of its efforts to provide interactive spaces for children, the Palestinian Vision Organization, in partnership with War Child, has launched a series of interactive nature days under the “Together We Can” project. The activities engaged members of children’s clubs established within grassroots community organizations across various areas in Jerusalem and its surroundings, including Sur Baher, Wadi al-Joz, At-Tur, Abu Dis, Al-Eizariya, Al-Ram, Beit Surik, Biddu, Kafr Aqab, Qalandiya, and Jaba’.
The clubs aim to provide a safe environment that enables children to express themselves and develop their social and life skills through regular activities focused on interaction, learning, and community participation.
The clubs’ activities also included community-based environmental initiatives, consisting of six field visits to locations such as Battir, Aboud, Khirbet al-Saadiyya, and Beit Duqqu. Children participated alongside their parents to create shared educational experiences that strengthen family bonds and instill values of teamwork and environmental responsibility.
These initiatives created an educational and interactive space that combined learning, recreation, and environmental awareness, within a framework that reinforces the role of family and community in supporting children’s rights.
Such activities reflect the Palestinian Vision Organization’s commitment to empowering children in Jerusalem and fostering safe and stimulating spaces that contribute to raising an aware, active, and engaged generation—one that upholds the values of participation, identity, and environmental and cultural sustainability.
