PalVision Launches “Ala Qad Al-Ard” Camp to Promote Environmental Awareness among Children

PalVision launched the “Ala Qad Al-Ard” camp in Jaba’ and Dura, with funding from Save the Children and the participation of 200 children aged 6 to 10, over a period of six days.

The camp aims to enhance children’s environmental awareness and strengthen their sense of individual and collective responsibility toward the environment through educational, interactive, and hands-on activities based on learning through play and practical experience. The activities include agriculture, recycling, waste sorting, and painting with soil.

The camp also seeks to develop children’s cooperation and teamwork skills through a variety of group activities that encourage active participation and shared learning.

As part of the camp’s program, children will take part in a field visit to a natural area, offering them the opportunity to directly explore the surrounding environment, strengthen their connection to nature, and deepen their understanding of the importance of protecting it.

The camp comes as part of PalVision’s efforts to provide safe educational and recreational spaces for children, contributing to the development of their knowledge and skills while promoting environmental awareness through creative and enjoyable approaches.
