The Palestinian Vision Organization has launched the second phase of the “Jusour 2” project, which aims to enhance employment opportunities for Palestinian youth through specialized vocational and technical training programs in key economic sectors. The project is supported by the F4J Careerz Program.
Rami Nasreddine, Executive Director of the organization, emphasized that the project’s renewal reflects the trust and strong partnership with stakeholders, highlighting the importance of investing in youth potential and empowering them economically amid the ongoing challenges in the Palestinian labor market.
The new phase targets job-seeking youth with training and capacity-building opportunities in fields such as agriculture, agricultural insurance, precious metals, and electrical and technical trades, across the governorates of Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, Hebron, and the Jordan Valley. The project directly responds to local labor market needs and is implemented in partnership with vocational training centers and several key actors.
The design of this phase builds on the lessons and outcomes of the first phase, which successfully facilitated the employment of more than 85 young men and women in private sector institutions. Project implementers hope the new phase will generate an even greater impact on improving the economic conditions of youth and their families while strengthening the role of the private sector in job creation.
The program is implemented under the “Finance for Jobs (F4J)” project, funded by the World Bank and executed by DAI Global on behalf of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, with financing from Finance for Jobs Consulting Services (F4J-CS).
