Palestinian Vision organized a series of environmental trips across the governorates of Jerusalem, Nablus, and Tulkarm, engaging nearly 600 students together with their parents/guardians. The trips were implemented under the “Salalem” project, with the aim of connecting children to their natural surroundings and introducing them to key Palestinian environmental and historical sites.
The program featured a range of recreational, interactive, and educational activities tailored to each location visited, including Hisham’s Palace (Jericho), Gamal Abdel Nasser Park, Qalqilya Zoo, Qasr Al-Emarat in Joreesh, among other sites.
These trips aimed to strengthen children’s environmental and historical awareness, bring joy to their daily lives, and provide a much-needed space for psychosocial relief. They also sought to reinforce positive family bonds by creating shared, meaningful memories between children and their families.
The activities form part of the ongoing implementation plan of the “Salalem” project, delivered in partnership with Save the Children and 25 community-based organizations.
