In 2025, Palestinian Vision placed particular focus on advancing the protection of children’s rights. Through its partnership with War Child, the organization provided technical and financial support to eight Jerusalem-based institutions: Badu Women’s Center, Beit Surik Women’s Center, Abad Al-Shams Charity Association, Al-Eizariya Youth Club, Abu Dis Youth Club, Silwan Women’s Center, Al-Mu’allimat Village, and Sur Baher Charity Association.
The interventions covered several key areas, including:

Remedial education, which helped reduce learning loss among students and supported their right to education.

Summer camps, sports activities, open days, and arts, which contributed to children’s psychosocial well-being, encouraged meaningful use of free time, strengthened the right to play, and increased the participation of girls in different types of sports activities.

Story writing, which enhanced children’s documentation and writing skills and supported emotional expression.

Dabkeh, which promoted the practice of Palestinian folk arts among children.

Photography documentation and field visits, which introduced children to heritage sites and depopulated villages, and strengthened their connection to cultural identity and belonging.
These interventions engaged more than 1,700 children, including children with disabilities, through inclusive and safe activities that supported their participation in community life and enabled them to exercise their basic rights. At the institutional level, the support strengthened coordination and networking among Jerusalem-based partners, contributed to developing and improving project ideas and implementation, ensured adherence to child safeguarding and safety measures, and enhanced partners’ capacities in project financial management.
