Coordination Committee

The Coordination Committee consists of various organizations working in the field of child protection to provide diverse and comprehensive services to children in various areas. Its work is focused on six targeted areas: Jabal Mukaber, Silwan, Shuafat Refugee Camp, Old City, Issawiya, and Sheikh Jarrah. The members collaborate to improve the response to the needs of the most vulnerable children, with a focus on exchanging expertise in child protection to provide quality services that enhance the protection and support of victims of violence and marginalized children in Jerusalem.

As part of the project, a referral system website has been developed for the Coordination Committee, through which organization work to transfer cases between them based on different specializations and areas of work to ensure maximum benefit for the children. The project includes conducting training sessions to build the capacities of members of the organizations in various areas such as psychosocial support, case management, and referral.

The project aims to activate and enhance the role of the Coordination Committee in Jerusalem, which includes eleven institutions: PalVision, Madad Center, Burj Al-Luqluq, TRC, YMCA, Wadi Al-Joz Charitable Association, Yad Waheda, Jadala for Women’s Support and Empowerment, Shuafat Women’s Center, and the Women’s Studies Center.
