Facilitator’s Guide for Supportive Education

This guide is a practical reference for facilitators, counsellors and families, to standardise how supportive education sessions are run in grassroots organisations. It focuses on raising achievement through simple teaching strategies, interactive activities and worksheets that respect individual differences, while building in psychosocial support skills that strengthen cooperation, help manage emotions and create a safe learning environment.

It also includes practical sections by grade (1 to 2, 3 to 4, 5 to 6, 7 to 8, 9 to 10), plus annexes, forms and standard templates that make planning and follow-up easier.
