Lack of Economic Policies Supporting Youth in Starting Their Own Businesses

This paper looks at the lack of economic policies that help young people start their own businesses, in terms of easy registration, access to finance and tax exemptions. It finds that the new Companies Law (2022) made registration easier but gave start-ups no tax relief, stresses the importance of small and micro enterprises, and makes recommendations to help young people grow their businesses.
