As part of the Afaq Project implemented by the Palestinian Vision Organization in partnership with Save the Children, around 100 kindergarten supervisors (caregivers) from 28 partner kindergartens across Nablus, Jerusalem, Hebron, and Bethlehem participated in a series of specially designed recreational sessions. These sessions aimed to provide participants with a safe space for emotional release, while also fostering professional and social connections among caregivers from different centers.
The sessions contributed to strengthening networks between kindergartens, improving participants’ psychological well-being, and equipping them with creative, child-friendly activity ideas to apply in their daily work. They also helped alleviate work-related pressures and provided practical skills and tools for organizing and managing recreational activities effectively.
The Afaq Project seeks to create safe and stimulating learning environments for children, empower kindergartens and their staff, and enhance communication between caregivers, parents, and management, ultimately contributing to early childhood development through structured educational and pedagogical approaches.
