In line with its efforts to support nursery caregivers and promote their psychosocial and professional wellbeing, the “Afaq” project implemented a series of eight wellbeing sessions targeting 84 caregivers across four governorates: Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron and Nablus.
The sessions provided a safe space for participants to express themselves, release stress, pause and reconnect with their own needs, while gaining simple self-care tools that may help ease the daily pressures associated with their educational role.
The project is guided by the belief that investing in caregivers’ wellbeing is a direct investment in the quality of care that children receive – and in their future.
