Kufr Aqab is one of the most marginalised communities in Jerusalem as it sits outside the Separation Barrier. The Buqjeh project has worked with over 400 young people to provide activities such as drama, debate and games clubs as well as providing life skills training. The project concluded with three live sessions on Facebook where young girls discussed the problems of Kufr Aqab neighborhood with officials and decision makers, who spoke of their longer-term plans for the area and its youth. The project was a great success and Buqjeh 2 is already being planned.
