Juthori

The “Juthori” project is designed to strengthen the resilience of farmers in Area C, helping them confront the challenges they face due to ongoing violations of their agricultural rights. Focused on raising awareness about farmers’ rights, the project empowers local communities, especially youth, to become active participants in preserving natural heritage and combating climate change impacts. By documenting environmental and agricultural violations, the project ensures accountability and provides a foundation for addressing these issues effectively.
Implemented in the areas of Battir and Al-Walajah, the project aims to create lasting change by fostering a deeper understanding of the significance of protecting agricultural resources and natural heritage. Through community engagement, youth empowerment, and climate change awareness, the project helps ensure a sustainable future for the region’s agricultural practices and natural environment.
Key Objectives:
The project seeks to empower youth by deepening their understanding of farmers’ rights and the importance of safeguarding natural heritage. It raises awareness about the impact of climate change and encourages youth to engage in advocacy, participate in documenting violations, and support efforts to protect the environment. The project also advocates the preservation of agricultural resources and natural heritage in the targeted areas, ensuring that these vital resources are safeguarded for future generations.
