Ma’an Nastatie

PalVision, in partnership with War Child, the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture (TRC), and the Human Rights and Democracy Media Center (SHAMS), is implementing the Ma’an Nastatie project. This initiative aims to contribute to the preservation of human rights in the Jerusalem Governorate and to improve the conditions of the most marginalized, vulnerable, and at-risk children, along with their families and caregivers. The project seeks to reintegrate them into their communities while fostering a safer and more supportive environment.

The project targets various areas within the Jerusalem Governorate, both inside and outside the separation barrier, including Sur Baher, Al-Thawri, Al-Tur, Al-Eizariya, Al-Ram, Biddu, Beit Surik, Qalandia, Jaba, and Al-Sawahira.

PalVision has also supported a group of community-based organizations (CBOs) specializing in child protection, enabling them to develop project proposals that receive funding through small grants for implementation in their communities. Additionally, a research study has been conducted to assess the state of the child sector in the Jerusalem Governorate, focusing on the key causes of violence, torture, and abuse, as well as future aspirations in the targeted areas.
