PalVision implementedSumow project in partnership with the UNICEF. Sumow contributed in addressing violence against girls and bullying in its different forms -physical/psychological- in Jerusalem and Hebron governorates. The project targeted 2,000 adolescents (15-17 years old boys/girls) and equipped them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools to raise the awareness of themselves, their peers, parents, teachers, and community members regarding topics as in violence against girls and peer to peer based violence (bullying). The project utilized different forms of expression such as advocacy campaigns, debates and acting sketches to convey their key messages. In addition, a group of experts from Finland Torku University were invited to offer presentations and provide evidence of Finnish example of experimented practices in tackling bullying at school and among peers through the KIVA approach.
