Tawasalo

Tawasalo project, implemented by PalVision in partnership with Baladna – the Association of Arab Youth in Haifa, and American Friends Services-Quakers Foundation, brings together Palestinian youth from different places in historical Palestine, with the aim of overcoming political and social divisions, in an attempt to challenge the policies of separation, division and fragmentation practiced by the occupation, which led to the isolation of Palestinians from each other, and the violation of their right to freedom of movement.

The project promotes the concepts of a comprehensive national identity to confront stereotypes, break down visible and invisible barriers, and targets 3,500 male and female students from various Palestinian locations, with a series of trainings and intellectual and political workshops, in addition to tours throughout Palestine. At the end of the project, each team submits a proposal for a community initiative that responds to the needs of its local community.
