Colored Roofs in the Christian Quarter of the Old City initiative was designed to add beauty and spirit to the alleys of Jerusalem.
This youth initiative was implemented within the framework of The Mediterranean Youth Networks Project funded by the European Union and implemented by UNISCO in partnership with PalVision.
In this initiative, the Jerusalemite youth chose to improve the general appearance and to beautify the halls of the Christian Quarter in The Old City through suspending colorful umbrellas in its alleys especially the unroofed ones, to cover it and provide protection for the pedestrians and visitors from the weather factors.
