PalVision is organizing “Making Hope in Jerusalem” project that supports youth entrepreneurial projects and develops their new enterprises in order to support the Jerusalem community resilience.
The project contains six phases; each phase has 15 participants from all over Jerusalem, but 6 participants are only selected for the final first phase. This selection process was done through evaluation models that based on a specific selection criterion that ensures creativity and excellence. This project was funded at 66.000$, which means that each of the 6 winning ideas in this project was funded at $11,000 by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Islamic Development Bank, in partnership with “Al Ta’waon” organization.
These projects, are hosted by Palvision, using its spaces to conduct the project’s meetings and trainings. The project includes a consultation and training guidance of a group of experienced and specialized committees in specific concerned fields of MSMEs field of work and skills, such as marketing, trade, and financial science. The committee are also keen to give the participants administrative consultancy, accompaniment services, and connect them with specialized institutions and businessmen in order to develop their projects and achieve their objectives in the labor market which would build their networking skills.
As a result, these winner participants had done an intensive training course in the field of entrepreneurship, preparation of work plans, proper pitching skills, and the development of entrepreneurial ideas. This stage of the project in specific us based on the (ILO) approach of the International Labor Organization, which called “Start Your Business” that aims to meet the real needs of Jerusalemites.
Last but not least, PalVision is due to announce the opening of the third phase of the project, on its website, in order to support another 6 young entrepreneurs and to host their start-up projects.
