Under the sponsorship of Hussein Hamail, Palvision has organized a signing ceremony for the first instalment of the agreements for the beneficiaries of the entrepreneurial grants for the youth in Jericho, with the attendance of the deputy governor, delegation from Oxfam, and representatives from organizations and sectors of the local community from Jericho and Tubas.
“Green ways” project carried out by Palvision in Jordan Valley in partnership with Oxfam, seeks to contribute to supporting and enabling the Palestinian youth economically by building their abilities in living and managerial skills and in supporting the entrepreneurial farming projects and offering entrepreneurial them financial grants.
The ceremony has started with a welcoming word presented by deputy governor, Yousra Swaiti, who praised the active role of the local granting organizations in supporting the youth and the agricultural projects economically and socially, the deputy governor word was followed by a word presented by Palvision representative, Ahmad Abdulwahhab, who has asserted on the importance of founding projects supporting the Palestinian economy, especially in the Jordan Valley. Ahmad also has asserted on the contribution to finding jobs and the assistance on founding and developing the entrepreneurial agricultural projects. Consecutively, the partners in Oxfam presented a word by their representative Majd Al-Khoury who has asserted on Oxfam’s caring in supporting the Jordan Valley due to the social and economic suffering of the area. Additionally, there was a presentation on “Green ways” project activities which were achieved during 2023.
Eventually, the ceremony included signing agreements with 7 agricultural entrepreneurial projects in Jericho and Tubas to support their projects through specialized entrepreneurial grants.
